History and curiosity

Musashi Hamono is a company that brings together several blacksmiths from different places such as Miki, Tosa, Sakai among others. Their goal is to highlight the incredible work of lesser known craftsmen.

Kyohei Shindo is a young craftsman based in the city of Tosa, who is beginning to open the doors to the large market of Japanese cutlery, with the incredible geometry of his blades and his neat finishes. I assure you that in a few years, everyone will know his name.

The blade is forged from Aogami #2 steel, with a hardness of 62-63 HRC and a soft iron coating, with a beautiful kurouchi (rough forge) finish.

The handle

The handle is made with an acrylic material called Juma, with a scaled effect, resembling the skin of a snake. And spacers in brass and blond buffalo horn.
