Musashi Aogami super Gyuto 240mm, the gyuto is the equivalent of a chef’s knife. An all-terrain knife in the kitchen, it can be used to mince and chop vegetables, slice meat and even work with fish that has already been sliced.
History and curiosity
Musashi Hamono is a company that brings together several blacksmiths from different places such as Miki, Tosa, Sakai among others. Their goal is to highlight the incredible work of lesser known craftsmen.
The gyuto is the equivalent of a chef’s knife, a must-have blade in every kitchen. This blade is forged from super Aogami steel, with a remarkable hardness of 63-64 HRC. The blade has a hammered kurouchi (as forged) finish.
To sublimate this blade, we made a handle with a spalted maple burl, with a pearly resin bolster.
