Sharpening service & repair
We offer a sharpening and repair service for your Japanese and western knives .
We do all the work exclusively by hand with Japanese whetstones, to reach a precise and meticulous result, in fonction of the needs of the blade.

A blade with a brush after misuse. In some cases, depending on the geometry of the blade, removing material from the wire to overcome the eraser and then sharpening the blade is sufficient. But sometimes this is not enough to have a blade performing to 100% of its capacities, and one is therefore obliged to thin the blade as shown in the work on it.

In the photo on the left you can see a blade with a large crack of 7mm. In the central photo, before and after working on the entire length of the wire, until the crack is overcome. In the photo on the right, we appreciate on the left the original geometry of the blade, in the center we have a very thick geometry of the a the amount of material removed to overcome the crack, and on the right we find a very fine geometry, as of origin, after having thinned the blade.
