Mosaic handle is handcrafted following the high-end Japanese handle style.

Curiosity

According to Japanese culture, the handle is considered a consumable, for this they do not pay much importance. Notably for that we find blades that are real masterpieces associated with a low quality handle. We believe that nothing is better than a pretty handle made of top quality materials, to sublimate and accompany a Japanese blade. Our handles are made with an octagonal shape, the shape used to distinguish the high-end handle in Japan. We like this shape because it enhances the beauty of the materials used and is also very ergonomic and comfortable to use.

Features

To create this handle, several pieces of wood were assembled, then cut and assembled again to create a mosaic pattern. Ferrule: stabilized and dyed ash burl Spacer: brass Main part: Made of Honduras rosewood burl and chittum burl   This handle has a length of 13.1 cm, ideal for attaching to blades with a length between 16 and 24 cm.
