Mosaic Handle #2 is handcrafted following the premium Japanese handle style.

Curiosity

According to Japanese culture, the handle is considered a consumable, for this they do not pay much importance. Notably for that we find blades that are real masterpieces associated with a low quality handle. We believe that nothing is better than a pretty handle made of top quality materials, to sublimate and accompany a Japanese blade. Our handles are made with an octagonal shape, the shape used to distinguish the high-end handle in Japan. We like this shape because it enhances the beauty of the materials used and is also very ergonomic and comfortable to use.

Features

To create this handle, several pieces of wood were assembled, then cut and assembled again to create a mosaic pattern. The materials used for the creation of this handle are the following: red micarta, ebony, poplar fork, boxelder burl and cocobolo.   This handle has a length of 12 cm, ideal to be fixed on blades with a length between 10 and 16 cm.
