Description
Boxelder burl and buffalo horn handle is handmade following the high-end Japanese handle style.
Curiosity
According to Japanese culture, the handle is considered a consumable, so it can be replaced. Because of this, manufacturers do not pay much attention to the handle. Especially for this reason, we find blades that are real masterpieces associated with a low-quality handle.
I think that nothing beats a pretty handle made with premium materials, to enhance and accompany a Japanese blade.
My handles are made with an octagonal shape mainly, a shape used to distinguish the high-end handle in Japan. We like this shape because it allows to enhance the beauty of the materials used and is also very ergonomic and comfortable to use. Other shapes are possible on order.
Characteristics
The handle is made with a stabilized boxelder burl, black onyx stone spacers and blond buffalo horn ferrule.
